INSTALLATION:

Upload the script and all other files to your webserver in exactly the 
same directory structure as it was when zipped up in ASCII mode.

you should now have a structure like this on your server:

  events (755)
    |-templates (755)
    |      |-footer.html (755)
    |      |-header.html (755)
    |
    |-event.cgi (755)
    |-event_admin.cgi (755)
    |-db.txt (777 or 666)
    |-tempfile.txt (777 or 666)
  
  
The nubers in ( ) are the chmod (file permissions) you need to set.  


USAGE:

In your HTML file where you wish the events to show up place this SSI code:

<!--#include virtual="/cgi-bin/events/event.cgi" -->


To administer the program you simply point your browser at:

http://yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/events/event_admin.cgi

The above 2 examples assume you have event.cgi installed in cgi-bin
