San Francisco based artist/designer Amy Franceschini is best known for the aesthetic stamp of her design collective Futurefarmers. Her animation Utopia, some cartoon girls, are located in the different interconnected levels of a structure. To complete their “floor” they have to destroy the pavement of the others.

Norman Klein is a professor at California Institute of the Arts. Author of "Seven Minutes: The Life and Death of the American Animated Cartoon"(Verso,1993), as well of dozens of essays on the history, politics, and aesthetics of mass culture.
